男友意外離世後，妍透過一款名為「Closer」的應用程式，跨越靈界與愛人重逢。然而，當對話得以延續，時間卻彷彿停滯，難以重新流動。鮮浪潮國際短片節參展作品《彌留以後》以科幻為引，探問與亡者告別的方式，以及「留住」背後的重量。

映後談的討論將從告別出發，延伸至情感斷捨離的可能——當記憶與遺物仍然牽動我們，當儀式介入離別，我們如何讓時間在失去之後重新展開。

Following her boyfriend's accidental death, Yin uses the app "Closer" to reunite with him across the spiritual realm. Yet, as their conversation continues, time stands still, refusing to move forward. Fresh Wave International Short Film Festival official selection Liminal uses sci-fi to question how we say goodbye, and the heavy weight of holding on.

The post-screening discussion explores final goodbyes and emotional letting go. When memories, relics, and rituals pull at us, how do we restart time after loss? Join us to find a way out of frozen time.

侯嘉雯出生於新加坡，在香港長大。她畢業於墨爾本大學，主修電影，副修心理學。現於一劇之本有限公司擔任編劇。她曾參與電影《超風》（2025）之編劇及協力導演工作，該片入選第55屆鹿特丹國際影展「大銀幕競賽」單元，並擔任第50屆香港國際電影節閉幕影片。其自編自導短片作品亦備受肯定，兩度入選香港鮮浪潮國際短片節以及金穗影展「年度金選・華語新視界」單元。

About Carmen Hau

Screenwriter / Director

Carmen Hau was born in Singapore and raised in Hong Kong. She studied Filmmaking and Psychology at the University of Melbourne.

Her acclaimed short film "Liminal" (2023) was selected for the 2023 Golden Harvest Awards. Her other works, including "The Gaze" (2019), "The Enlightenment of Old Chap" (2020), "Abandoned" (2020), and "Breeding" (2024), have been selected at film festivals across Hong Kong, Asia and Europe. Her latest collaboration with director Philip Yung, the feature film "Cyclone" (2025), was selected for the Big Screen Competition at the 55th International Film Festival Rotterdam and as the closing film of the 50th Hong Kong International Film Festival.
