What will happen in the Kids Coding Experience?
Preface Coding is pleased to provide a free 1-hour Kids Summer Coding Experience session to Happy Academy members aged 6-12 years old. In this class, young students will learn to code a fun and interactive Flip Card memory game, created as a special collaboration between Preface Coding and Warner Music HK in a theme that is inspired by Coldplay's latest song release "Higher Power". Children will build the game on Scratch, a block-based programming tool developed by MIT that is designed to unleash children’s creativity and sharpen their mathematical sense and logical reasoning.
由Preface Coding主辦， 是次的夏日編程體驗專為六至十二歲的 Happy Academy 會員而設。1 小時的免費編程體驗活動中，學生將利用MIT開發的圖像式編程語言Scratch學習編寫遊戲。此體驗活動是Preface Coding 聯乘香港華納唱片特別策劃：以Coldplay的最新歌曲“Higher Power”為靈感，設計出紙牌配對遊戲。 MIT Scratch致力讓幼童開展學習編程的旅程，並幫助幼童釋放創意及激發他們的數理和邏輯推理能⼒。
Do I have to bring anything?
Due to hygiene concerns, students are required to bring their own laptop (Mac / Windows is fine - as long as it can connect to the Internet).
基於衛生考慮，參加者需自備電腦（可連接到網絡便可），Mac/Windows 皆可。
Terms & Conditions:
- Suitable for children of six to twelve years of age. 體驗適合6至12歲兒童。
- Quota of 80. First-come first-serve. 共有80個名額，先到先得。
- Each Happy Academy member can register the workshop once only. 每位Happy Academy童學會會員只能登記一次。
- Prior application is required through online. 參加者需先於網上完成登記報名。
- Customers have to present Happy Academy membership qualification. 參加者參加課堂時必須出示Happy Academy 童學會會員卡。
- Students are required to bring their own Laptop for class. Both Mac / Windows are fine as long as they can be connected to the Internet. 學生須自攜手提電腦上課，只要能連接網絡，Mac/Windows 皆可。
- Classes will be cancelled if the Black Rainstorm / T8 signal is hoisted or in force within 2 hours of class start. We will contact parents for alternative arrangements afterward. 如果八號颱風或黑色暴雨警告信號在課堂開始前2小時懸掛或生效，課堂將被取消，我們將聯繫家長以重新安排課堂時間
- Preface and Now TV reserve the right to use any photographs, video, or audios taken from workshops for marketing or internal use. Preface與Now TV保留使用工作坊拍攝的任何照片、影片或音頻用於營銷或內部使用的權利。
- This offer is not transferable and cannot be converted into cash. 此禮遇不得轉讓、更換、退回或兌換現金。
- In the event of dispute arising out of the offer, the decision of Preface and Now TV shall be final and conclusive. 如有任何有關本推廣活動的爭議，Preface與Now TV保留最終決定權。
