About this Event

About the Exhibition

Co-organized by PMQ and the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Hong Kong, and supported by the Poster Museum in Wilanów, the “Posterized: Warsaw International Poster Biennale in Hong Kong” exhibition brings the legendary Biennale to Hong Kong for the very first time.

Established in 1966, the International Poster Biennale in Warsaw is one of the most historical and prestigious events in the world dedicated to the art and exchange of posters. The exhibition’s curators, Agnieszka Mori and Max Skorwider, selected 140 award-winning works from the Biennale, representing around 120 designers from 23 countries and regions. Exhibited alongside key visual designs and historical photos of the past editions, they immerse visitors into a rare retrospective that transcends place and time.

Notable works include masterpieces by key figures of the Polish Poster School such as Henryk Tomaszewski, Jan Lenica and Waldemar Świerzy, Japanese design masters Yusaku Kamekura and Ikko Tanaka, and Pop Art icon Andy Warhol.

A variety of programs will be hosted concurrently with the exhibition, including DIY workshop and guided tours. Don’t miss out on getting your fill of poster greatness!
