Event overview

Urban planning and property value - these two areas are usually handled by two different professions, but are they unrelated? At times, diving in from another discipline allows us to see things from a different perspective.

By making reference to the research and case studies that has been carried out in the UK, an information paper Placemaking and Value, 1st edition (Hong Kong) was prepared with key lessons, examples and inspiration drawn.

Candy Chan MRICS, member of RICS Asia Land Professional Group, will share insights with our practitioners in materialising the commercial value of placemaking and fostering a better city to live in.

The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion with both academic and private sector’s views from Professor Bo-sin Tang MRICS and Joe Ma FRICS on urban planning.

  • Candy Chan MRICS, Director and Founder, Property Conservation Company Limited
