Real Estate is a popular and profitable place to invest, especially for investors in Asia. This seminar, presented jointly by GFM's Tariq Dennison and AP Tax's Chris Chang, introduces some of the difference between investing in a portfolio of liquid, listed real estate investment trusts (REITs) vs phyical real estate, both in terms of risk/return and tax treatment.

Tariq Dennison CFPCM, is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERCM professional and private fund manager with GFM Group and has been providing capital preservation, income, and market access solutions across global financial markets for over 12 years. He has worked at Bear Stearns, JP Morgan, Commerzbank, CIBC, Societe Generale, and Accenture and holds a Masters Degree in Financial Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley's Haas School of Business. Chris Chang CPA is a leading US tax accountant firm in Hong Kong helping clients find simple solutions to their complex US tax situation. Christ graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting and Marketing from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He has over 9 years of US taxation and business financial management experience, and is a CPA in the State of Hawaii. Christopher started his career at Grant Thornton LLP.
