Phone Strap Upcycling Workshop

Eaton HKJordan, KOW
Sunday, Apr 19 from 11 am to 12 pm
Overview

Interactive workshop on fashion sustainability, teaching upcycling techniques using locally recycled T-shirts to create phone straps.

Join us for a simple, fun, and interactive workshop focused on responsible consumption and production, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This session will start with a brief introduction to fashion sustainability and recycling efforts in Hong Kong. Participants will engage in an upcycling workshop where they can learn practical, replicable hacks for transforming old clothing into new treasures. Using locally recycled, unresellable T-shirts, attendees will create unique phone straps without the need for sewing. We encourage participants to bring their own cotton T-shirts, promoting sustainable practices while fostering creativity and environmental awareness. Together, we can make a difference!

The workshop fee includes general admission to the Green Women Festival, granting access to talks, booths, and goodie bags. The workshop will be conducted bilingually.
