The aim of this workshop is to assist those with the responsibility of appraising others to understand why and how effective appraisals work. This will ensure that future appraisals get maximum effectiveness out of the teams as well as the managers. The workshop acts as a further opportunity to change the mindset of managers who may not have conducted appraisals in the most effective way in the past.
By the end of the workshop, each participant will:
Understand why it is important to appraise others.
- Work out what is needed to conduct an effective appraisal.
- Know how to get the best out of their people.
- Work with the skills required to become an effective appraiser.
- Be aware of and work with some of the common problems to avoid in appraisal discussions.
