Yes, this event welcomes everyone! However, we recommend that attendees be 18 years or older to ensure a great experience for all. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you there!

Do I need to be a member of Effective Altruism Hong Kong or Corrupt the Youth to join?

Accepted Answer

No. You don't have have to be our members to join. Corrupt the Youth members enjoy priority ticket reservation for this event.

Will there be an opportunity for audience questions?

Yes! There will be a dedicated interactive Q&A session following the panel discussion where attendees can ask questions and engage with Peter Singer and the panelists.

Do I need prior knowledge of philosophy to enjoy the panel discussion with Peter Singer?

Not at all! This event is designed to be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background. While having some prior knowledge may enhance your experience during the interactive Q&A session that follows, it is not required.

What are the adverse weather arrangements?

When typhoon No. 8  or Black Rainstorm Warning is in force, or is expected to be issued within the two hours before the commencement of the event at 8pm, the event will be cancelled. Ticket fee paid will be refunded in full to the purchaser.
