For the second year running, BaseHall will transform into a traditional Bavarian beer tent on October 23 – the ultimate party filled with beer, German-inspired dishes, and other traditional festivities. That's right, Oktoberfest has arrived! Though, instead of jetting off to Munich, BaseHall is bringing the most authentic version of Oktoberfest to Hong Kong.DAYTIME ADMISSION: $50 (11am-4pm)A morning of fun family-focused activities has been planned including cookie decorating, ring toss and face painting. A small entrance fee is required to support the festive Oktoberfest cookie decorating, which has been specially prepared this year by Nest Bakery; a not-for-profit bakery empowering adults with learning disabilities in Hong Kong. Families can also indulge in all the special Oktoberfest themed foods created by BaseHall’s various operators on the day to get into the spirit of things. EVENING ADMISSION: $150 (5pm-10pm)A live Oompah band and DJ will be entertaining throughout the night bringing classic Munich beerhall tunes, crowd rousing sing-alongs and chants to the occasion, and a traditional tapping of the cask ceremony will take place at 7pm. Other games and entertainment include a Stein-holding competition and ring toss, with prizes to be had sponsored by Young Master Ales and BaseHall. Limited beer casks are also available for purchase to help revelers get into the Oktoberfest mood and share between friends.Be ready for a beer-fuled, fun-filled night with Oktoberfest at BaseHall! And don't forget to put on your dirndl and lederhosen to get into the spirit! FOOD &amp; DRINK AT BASEHALL:Young Master Ales will be brewing their exclusive “Young Master Festbier” for the night, in addition to the Oktoberfest requisites of schnapps, Bavarian Weisswurst and Obatzda with Pretzel. Each of BaseHall’s eight vendors has created an Oktoberfest inspired dish of the night to celebrate, such as a Chicken Schnitzel with Zaatar and Sauerkraut from FRANCIS, a roasted ham hock Schweinhaxe Burger from Honbo, Königsberger Klopse (meatballs) from Korean eatery Moyo Sik and Spaetzle with Parmesan cream, caramelised onions and bacon from new BaseHall vendor, MAMMA’S. All regular menu items will also be available throughout both admissions.
