Off the Eaten Path Food Tour
Event Information
Description
Ready to eat like a local? With that, we will whisk you away from the main tourist hot spots for Hong Kong food tours (I’m looking at you Mong Kok) and take you to the neighbourhood, Whampoa, where no tourist has gone before, except for you now. Truly off-the-eaten path and a hidden gem for tourists, but a known thriving food hotspot for the locals.
In this quaint, charming and grassroots residential part of town where old Hong Kong occupations and shops are still in existence, you’ll be able to experience some of the best foods in Hong Kong. Discover the best of Whampoa as you will meander through the streets, checking out the local wet market, visitng the famous Kwun Yam Temple, and dining at some of the tastiest hole-in-the-wall shops of Hong Kong.
Eating your way through Whampoa like a progressive meal, you will learn about the 5 flavours in Chinese cuisine - sweet, spicy, salty, bitter and sour - and you'll be able to taste them all as well. We end with sweet.
Note: The cut-off time for booking is 12am on the same day as the event. If you're still interested in the event, please email us directly at Info@humidwithachanceoffishballs.com to see if there are still spots available.
