Celebrate the arrival of 2026 in spectacular style at Casual Engineering Research's New Year’s Eve Fireworks Countdown party. Welcome 2026 to a sensational celebration in a special mini festival vibe gathering ART-MUSIC-WELLNESS. With a tightly curated local and international lineup of DJs, VJs, live band, graffiti artists, artists, yogis all of whom call Hong Kong home. Plus freeflow drinks all night long (mulled wine, kombucha included).

DJs A - Z
AngeliKa (DJ) is the co-founder of Abyss (HK/Berlin) pushing boundary pushing electronic music in Hong Kong. She DJs at clubs, festivals, kinky parties, and enjoys putting up open air music events through another brand Kiosky.

KATAGYAL (DJ)
KATAGYAL’s sound is heavy on polyrhythmic beats and thumping basslines. On a mission to celebrate the roots of Black dance music, her selections span Jungle, Footwork, Afro Electronica, House, Detroit Techno and beyond. Thanks to her decade-long experience as a musician and singer-songwriter, KATAGYAL’s sets are attentively curated, harmonic and diverse. A versatile artist with groovy beats across cultures.

Kirby Anderson (DJ, curator), Co-founder of Tempo Contato (HK), Co-founder of Clandestine Records, just finished this first mini tour across NYC @ Public Hotel, Bali @ Uluwatu Clffhouse, Chongqing @ Cici Park, and Dali @ POOLS, testing out songs in his yet released EP and making more.

MLCH (DJ, curator)
His music is all about Grooves from zouk to acid, from disco-funk to trance, from Afrobeat to Deep house, from classic House to Techno... Expect an electic set to make you dance & travel. Also known as founder of Shi Fu Miz Festival since 2016 (HK, w/ La Mamies), codounder of Sunda Festival since 2023 (SG, w/ Ice Cream Sundays).

o-mori (DJ)
A vinyl record collector and DJ based in Hong Kong with over 20 years of experience, who has conducted in-depth research on the Asian rare record market. He is active in underground music events across mainland China, building extensive networks with his keen insights. Currently, he writes columns for the Japanese magazine "ketchup," sharing Hong Kong's music culture. He is also the founder of Hong Kong Analog Shopping Centre, promoting vinyl culture long-term.

suz eq (DJ)
Part of the electronic music duo "enzyme (w/ mailinamix)", her sets span early 00s prog and tech house, minimal, electro, early 90s trance, and more, without dwelling too much on genre as long as it’s moving. The purpose of the dance floor is beyond music but a communal ritual - which she observed through dancefloors across Europe, New York, and Hong Kong.

Neneneko (VJ)
NENENEKO is a visual artist from Hong Kong who merges analogue video hardware with liquid light show techniques. His work explores video signal disruption and DIY synthesizers, creating captivating visual experiences that challenge traditional perceptions.

Neo soul/funky tunes before countdown by mostly Indonesian jazz band based in Hong Kong.

Becky Isjwara (Artist)
Becky is a writer, producer, and personal brand strategist based in Hong Kong. When not behind an art station for a new year’s eve party, she’s probably walking around the city with her trusty film camera.

9rush is a HK-based graffiti artist. He grew up learning art, and started graffiti in 2021 while being inspired by street art and murals. His art style started off with old school graffiti and his style has been evolving by using different colours and techniques.

9rush（鳩屈）是一位香港的塗鴉字體藝術家，土生土長學習藝術，開始塗鴉自2021年。啟發自觀察街頭塗鴉和壁畫，開始塗鴉以old school graffiti為主軸，不同顏色去以及新的技法去不斷突破。

The Blacksea (ambient live artist):
An experimental ambient solo project by Sky Kung, a sound artist based in Hong Kong. Got involved in playing music as guitarist in a shoegaze/dreampop band. He later developed a deep fascination with tape loops as a medium for creating ambient and drone music. In a liveset, he weaves ethereal soundscapes from synthesizers, custom-made instruments, and guitar effects. He has performed for years under this title in diverse venues, from underground, live music to art space.

hirsk (ambient live artist)
hirsk is a Hong Kong-born sonic alchemist, Berklee-forged and boundary-blurring. He listens to the city (MTR announcements, construction sites, half-remembered Cantopop classics) and folds it all into fluid, post-genre tracks that feel like home and nowhere at once.

Jane Kim (movement artist)
Jane Kim is a movement and sound artist dedicated to creating courageous, inclusive, and accessible experiences for deeper imagination, self‑inquiry, and expansive growth. Her work invites participants to soften, reconnect with their inner world, and remember the creative, infinite universe within.
