【 音樂家的餐桌特別場 Musician’s Table Special 】村上春樹の食桌〈一〉— 電影 x 音樂

第一回，我們從三部改編自小說的電影入手，聚焦它們的電影語言與音樂世界。村上作品改編不多，只有《東尼瀧谷》、《挪威的森林》與《燒掉柴房》（港譯《燃燒的愛》），分別由日本、越南及韓國導演執導，風格各異，更展現對他筆下「聲音」截然不同的理解。

活動由 PMQ味道圖書館客席廚師及音樂家 Erikson Ting帶領，以作曲家角度從文學到電影、音樂逐層拆解，同場更請來文學博士 Dr. Michelle Chan 分享指教。Erikson也將復刻作品中的料理，讓你在這一晚，不只聽與看，更能親身品味村上春樹的電影世界！

What does Haruki Murakami bring to mind for you? Human relationships, marathons, classical or jazz music, or perhaps that Nobel Prize in Literature that always seems fated to slip past him?

In this new programme series, we invite you to rediscover the world-renowned Japanese novelist. Through perspectives ranging from psychology to literature, social context, rituality, music, and even food culture, we’ll unravel his works and the worldview behind them.

In the first session, we begin with three films adapted from his novels, focusing on their cinematic language and musical worlds. There aren’t many adaptations of Murakami’s work—only “Tony Takitani”, “Norwegian Wood”, and “Burning”, each directed by filmmakers from Japan, Vietnam, and South Korea with distinct styles and sharply different interpretations of the soundscape in his writing.

This event is led by PMQ Taste Library’s guest chef and musician, Erikson Ting, who will trace the journey from literature to film and music through a composer’s lens. Joining him is Dr. Michelle Chan, a scholar in literature, who will share her insights. Erikson will also recreate dishes featured in Murakami’s works.
