Monochrome Sketching Workshop 淨色鉛筆靜心素描

Monochrome pencil sketching strips away the distraction of colour, allowing you to focus on light, shadow, and mindful observation. The repetitive motion of shading quiets the mind—It’s both a relaxing artistic practice and a way to document everyday life.

In this workshop, don’t worry about perfect shapes. With simple techniques and gentle guidance, you’ll create expressive sketches with ease.

*There will be two sets of still life on site for observation.

*Participants can paper-mount their work at the end of the workshop.

單色鉛筆素描沒有多色搭配的花巧，只剩下光影空氣與手眼協調，是使人放鬆的繪畫練習，也是對於生活的紀錄。觀察靜物、重復排線這一單反覆的動作要求觀者專注于「此刻」從而得到近乎放空的效果。在此工作坊，你無需糾結于形體的把握，只要你用心觀察，我將分享簡單的技巧使得你輕鬆地完成一張有韻味的畫作。

Tianseed Studio is founded by Tianjun Wang, an illustrator and multimedia visual artist. She holds degrees in Illustration from the China Academy of Art, Visual Arts from Hong Kong Baptist University, and Contemporary Practice from the Zurich University of the Arts.

With experience illustrating children’s books and working in the game art industry, she has also taught art across various age groups for eight years in Hong Kong and Bangkok.
