STEAM Educational Program: “Algorithmic Art: Shuffling Space &amp; Time”
 
Mathematics and Art
Workshop chair: Prof. Felipe Cucker (Head and Chair Professor of Department of Mathematics, City University of Hong Kong)
 
The workshop will demonstrate how mathematics and art interact more often than we thought in various aspects, tracing back to the mathematical concepts including geometry applied to Renaissance European and classical Chinese paintings. 
The workshop will be conducted in English

工作坊主持：Felipe Cucker 教授 （香港城市大學數學系主任兼講座教授）
 
藝術與數學的互動往往比我們想像多，本工作坊將從多角度探討當中關係，並回溯到包括幾何等等的數學概念，如何應用在文藝復興的歐洲和古典中國的畫作。
工作坊以英語進行

All registrations must be made by providing a valid email account. Delegates are not allowed to share a registration - one registration per delegate.
City University of Hong Kong reserves the right to change the programme content, take photo or video documentation on the workshop and use these records for publicity without prior notice.
Activities will be cancelled in case of closure of schools due to tropical cyclones or heavy persistent rainfall. Please refer to EDB Circular No.4/2016 on "Tropical Cyclones and Heavy Persistent Rain Arrangements for Kindergartens and Day Schools" for details.
