"Maker Faire Hong Kong 2017 x Make Big" is a must-attend event for Hong Kong Makers. Sponsored by Standard Chartered Hong Kong 150th Anniversary Community Foundation, PolyU SD is celebrating this big event together with more than 150 local and international Makers.

The event will be held on 8 and 9 April 2017 with a series of happenings, including exhibitions, workshops, sharings, and ten “Makers’ Day” in different neighbourhoods. Together we hope to promote “Maker Culture” to the general public, demonstrating creativity, inventiveness and resourcefulness.

「Maker Faire HK 2017 x 造大世界」是香港Maker的一大盛事。由渣打150周年慈善基金贊助、理大設計學院主辦，聯同超過150位本地及國際Makers，一起從無到有、從細到大、從一個轆到一架車，合力動手「造大世界」。

由2017年4月8日至9日一連兩天，一系列活動包括展覽、工作坊、講座，以及事前約10次社區預演活動，讓公眾了解何謂「Maker文化」，見證由Maker雙手實踐的創意。
