Embroidery Course: From Design to Canvas

Join us for an exciting embroidery course where participants will learn essential skills in embroidery design. This course covers everything from preparing your tools and materials to mastering key stitches—both basic and advanced—as well as photo transfer methods and mixed media techniques.

Throughout the course, you will create a stunning embroidered canvas. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced stitcher, everyone is welcome!

Course Outline:

Lesson 1:

Photo transfer techniques for one or multiple small images

Applying mixed media background details

Learning 10 basic embroidery stitches

Lesson 2:

Second step in preparing the image transfer

Designing the layout of stitches on your canvas

Developing your embroidered canvas with guidance from our Make & Do HK instructor

All materials are provided, ensuring you have everything you need to succeed. By the end of the course, participants will take home:

1 embroidered photo canvas
