JHUHKAA has organized a guided tour to World Wide Fund Hong Kong’s Mai Po Nature Reserve on Dec 30, 2021. As many of us are unable to travel abroad during this upcoming holiday season, let’s explore our local natural environment during the bird migration season. Please join us and enjoy the natural beauty of Hong Kong with your fellow JHU alumni, family and friends.
Ticket Fee: HKD 300 per person (guided tour & entrance fee) + an additional transportation fee. Final price and payment details will be shared by email after registration.
Mai Po Nature Reserve
Located on the northwestern corner of Hong Kong, the Mai Po and Inner Deep Bay wetlands are recognized as a Wetland of International Importance under the prestigious Ramsar Convention. For more than three decades, Mai Po Nature Reserve has been a paradise for birds and a beautiful, irreplaceable piece of China’s wetland kaleidoscope – providing food and habitat for over 60,000 birds from more than 400 species each year.
