Description

Flow.Vital.Joy will have a new event forthcoming!

Want to get a good start for the Year of The Dog? Here you the great opportunity! Hurray!

Flow.Vital.Joy https://www.facebook.com/flowvitaljoy/ (powered by Talent Link Global Limited) cordially invite you to join our first wellness workshop of the year, ‘Listening to Your Body: The Psychology of Exercising’. Creating some quiet time for your body and mind, to think, reflect, and learn how to get back your own rhythms!

Workshop Brief

There are many ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle. To start with taking good care of our own body would be the simplest and the most natural way!

You’ve heard about doing exercises can make you healthier! Then do you exercise enough? After a busy workday, do you need to spend time on further studies? Or do you want to enjoy your time with your family? Or do you just want to wire down without doing anything? Seems like you don’t have much time to do exercise. Have you ever struggled to give up exercising because you have no time or feel tired? How can you manage your body and mind wellbeing?

Our workshop aims at sharing ideas for sustaining a healthy lifestyle. There are two parts of the workshop. In the first part, our Wellcoach© and Registered Psychologist will share with you some interesting research findings and cases on how exercise benefits our health and overall wellness, including enhancements on our work and learning performance. Besides, you will be guided to discuss and set your own plan to incorporate exercises into your daily routine!

In the second part, a Hong Kong Olympic swimmer will demonstrate and guide you through some exercise routines. The exercises are composed of a mix of functional, breathing and stretching exercises that are intended to warm your body up for whatever lies ahead: to prepare to take on the day, for a midday refresher or a way to end the day strong. We will incorporate movements with and without use of simple equipment with hopes that you can implement these simple exercises in your daily routine at home or in the office. The level of difficulty is suitable for beginners.

Enjoying both concepts and practices in ONE workshop, you will definitely feel energized after the workshop!
