Welcome to Let's TTRPG!, a new event series from Press Start Hong Kong designed to introduce various tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG) systems and formats.

We will be kicking off the series with that classic TTRPG - Dungeons & Dragons (5th Edition), led by our good friend Mahar Abrera, who will be our Dungeon Master for the afternoon.

Time: 2 - 6 pm

Venue: Suite 506, Car Po Commercial Building, 18-20 Lyndhurst Terrace, Central, Hong Kong

What to bring: Lots of creativity and collaboration!

Important Notes

1. We will only accept registrations via Eventbrite.

2. By purchasing a ticket, you're committing to the full 4-hour session. Please keep your schedule free for the entirety of the stipulated time – we highly discourage you from coming in late or leaving early!

3. Dungeons & Dragons is an immersive, continuous experience, so please arrive on time. Not only is it a sign of respect to your fellow adventurers, but it will ensure you're there in time for the introduction, which sets the tone for the entire experience. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to deny you entry.

4. We will provide simple snacks and drinks on site. Feel free to bring your own to share!

Designed by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson and first published in 1974, Dungeons & Dragons is a fantasy tabletop role-playing game.

D&D departs from traditional wargaming by allowing each player to create their own character to play instead of a military formation. These characters embark upon imaginary adventures within a fantasy setting. A Dungeon Master (DM) serves as the game's referee and storyteller, while maintaining the setting in which the adventures occur, and playing the role of the inhabitants of the game world. The characters form a party and they interact with the setting's inhabitants and each other.

Together they solve dilemmas, engage in battles, and gather treasure and knowledge. In the process, the characters earn experience points (XP) in order to rise in levels, and become increasingly powerful over a series of separate gaming sessions.
