Do you have a creative block? A workshop hosted by Artist Sandy Wang exclusive at 1/F dtby_ BOON. An interactive lesson moulding paper clay to build new system of habits. Studies have shown habits need to be learnt, but first we must ask, “Who are we as a creatives and how do we incorporate this into our daily lives?”.

In this course, you will:

• Learn to understand new concepts and create your own clay sculpture guided by Sandy Wang.
• Learn to build a system, creating a habit loops, and new relationships with the objects.
• Learn first hand how to start your career as an illustrator in Hong Kong.
• Participants will receive personal reminder care card/ certificate at the end of the workshop (valued at HKD $200)

Sandy Wang also known as ‘Farts for Art’, is a multidisciplinary visual artist. Sandy’s work aspires to unravel what deceives the eye - everyday objects, the dullness, and the ordinary in life. Directed by the curiosity of human interactions with the surroundings, her subjects investigate an extensive range of ideas through studies of objects, situations, and emotions.

作為做創作人最大煩惱就是腦閉塞(Creative block)。想學下如何解決這個問題就來參加插畫家Sandy Wang 與dtby_BOON 一齊獨家舉辦「如何抵抗腦閉塞」workshop！

課程以手捏陶藝過程，雙手與泥土溝通學習如何建立新的習慣系統。 根據研究，建立習慣的基礎是由提示開始，課程最終除了可以即場創造新作品亦能學到抵抗腦閉塞的秘密。

課程資料:

Sandy Wang 王梓妃 2016年畢業於倫敦中央聖馬丁藝術設計學院，主修平面設計，翌年開始以 “Farts for Art” 名義創作跨媒體視覺藝術，擅於觀察日常中人、物與環境的關係，以平易近人、率性隨意的手法創作藝術，作品經常流露出其幽默怪誕的念頭。 Farts for Art 曾出版過多本獨立插畫小誌，並在香港、台灣、日本、英國及星加坡等多個藝術書展中展出。近期更開始參與更大型的創作，早前大館的多媒體展覽「日安時刻」的視覺設計與插畫正由 Sandy 操刀。
