Event description
With the new wave of COVID-19, hybrid working is here to stay. How best to lead in the evolving new environment?

About this event

How can leaders foster purpose, security, and fun – bringing joy and great performance to their teams in our new world? How can they get the team to trust them, and know that they do? Can they trust the team enough to delegate meaningful work to the members? Can they resist the temptation to micro-manage?

And how to create a psychologically safe atmosphere in which people are unafraid to talk about mistakes, give bad news and challenge upwards? How to get team members to contribute equally when some people and some cultures are more reticent, or tend to dominate? And how to broach culture and coach people to understand each other and avoid confirming their cultural preconceptions?

Facilitators

Alessia Werder is a Russian intercultural trainer and mentor, living in Switzerland, and Michael Gates is a British intercultural and behavioural skills trainer based in Finland. He recently acted as subject-matter expert for two award-winning video programmes on Working in Remote Teams and Cross-Cultural Communication for Video Arts.

The session is free of charge and will be highly interactive. Join us if you need to lead remotely or are a trainer yourself, keen to find out more and learn from your peers.
