Event Details

Background:

The Zubin Foundation had conducted an in-depth research project on the education gap in the current education system for non-Chinese speaking children with special education needs (NCS SEN) and their parents. We are now launching the study with a comprehensive report that seeks to understand the breadth of issues faced by families with NCS SEN children and gaps in the current provision of education.

The study had involved parents, kindergartens, primary schools (government, subsidised and international), special schools, local charities and NGO’s working with the NCS and/or SEN communities, and legislators.

Why you need to attend:

Register now:

  1. if you want to understand the struggles that schools and parents are facing
  2. if you are struggling to identify if a non-Chinese speaking child is with language delay or special education need
  3. if you are struggling to work with families with diverse cultural background
  4. if you want to learn international best practice
