Comedy.HK returns to its favorite venue with a kicking rad lineup of Hong Kong's best and brightest comedic talents! Featuring Tim To, Garron Chiu, Ash James, Cassi Thomas, Tamby Chan, Rose Rage, Bing Zhu, and Faizan Ali!

“Tim's jokes sound like someone recalling a night out whilst it's still happening and somehow funnier” - Ashley James

Tim To is a Chinese Canadian comedian, he grew up in Toronto and has spent about a decade living in Hong Kong. His comedic style explores his unhinged interpretation of his experiences and defines his own brand of logic. In 2020, he was the winner of BushiRoast 4 and continues to explore his comedic style in shows throughout Hong Kong.

Garron Chiu is an American born stand up comedian based in Hong Kong. A mainstay in the Hong Kong comedy scene, he was featured on Comedy Central’s “Stand Up Asia!” season 2, and was the winner of the 2018 Hong Kong International Comedy Competition. He has made people laugh on stage in 37 cities across 18 countries, mostly in Asia.

He has performed with world class acts such as Jim Gaffigan, Hannibal Buress, Ari Shaffir, Tony Woods, Roy Wood Jr., Pete Lee, Alonzo Bodden, Paul Ogata and many more. On stage you will find him talking about his wife, his dog, which one he loves more, as well as if he is too Asian or not Asian enough. All while making people laugh along the way.

“Garron is a powerhouse on stage. He grabs the audience upfront and smashes.” – Andy Curtain, Founder, Kung Fu Komedy

Winner of the 2025 Hong Kong Comedy Competition, Ashley James is a stand-up comedian from London who moved to Hong Kong to escape his desk job to another desk job but with a better view. Ashley’s style of humour is saying horrible things to make you laugh, and then making you laugh at his life. Ashley's sardonic wit and unique stage presence quickly saw him become a regular in Hong Kong. He has opened for many marquee acts, including the biggest stand-up comedy show in Hong Kong of 2021: Vivek's Mahbubani's Humour Along My Hairline at Ocean Park, and has sold out his two previous headline shows: I Am Trash and The Great Trashley. Despite this, he is annoyed about how he is recognised more for making all the memes on Chaotic Hong Kong Expats.

"Ashley delivers a hilarious blend of British humour and local topics that will make you laugh." - Vivek Mahbubani

Cassi FM chooses not to use her real last name because her family are already ashamed of her enough. Born and raised a Hong Kong "gwai mui", Cassi's number one interest in life is a bar in Lan Kwai Fong called Stormies. Other interests include ranting to people on a range of issues that that pretty much always fall on deaf ears such as: Hong Kong politics, feminism and the correct way to eat hairy crab. She can be seen around town performing stand up comedy or on one of her hit web shows, You Can't Sit With Us or Excuse My English and is usually being mobbed by a crowd of adoring fans.

In her spare time, Cassi enjoys making memes about english teachers on the internet. Cassi is a Hong Kong local though you wouldn't be able to tell it looking at her face and ability to wield an umbrella without poking out someones eyes. Her comedy style has been reviewed in quotes such as "abrasive" and "i wasn't aware there was even a show going on" and "that girl seemed really sad". She is the Founder, CEO, and Chairperson of the renowned shitposting group Chaotic Hong Kong Expats.

After immigrating to Canada at the age of 7, Tamby developed his sense of humor as a social defense mechanism in lieu of speaking fluent English. He has been continuously refining his comedic voice through trial and error ever since. Tamby represented Hong Kong in Laugh Factory’s Funniest Person in the World Contest, was the winner of the Bangkok division of the Magners International Comedy Competition 2018, placed second at the regional finals, has been selected as a finalist at numerous international comedy festivals, and has appeared on TV like four times. His unique perspective, incisive writing, and adequate stage presence has made him a popular headline act around Asia.

“He’s so easy. So natural. And what’s even better, he’s so topical. ” - Barry Hilton

Rose Rage has been doing comedy in Hong Kong since what seems like the beginning of time, but is actually only 13 years or so, mostly in pants. She’s a founding member of People’s Liberation Improv, and has performed with them in Beijing, Seoul, Manila, Macau, and Hong Kong, in pants. Although she never won, she was a finalist in TakeOut Comedy’s Funniest Person competition and has opened for Paul Ogata and Tom Cotter, in pants. Recently she decided to shake things up a bit and do standup without pants, but the horrified reaction of the audience led her to believe that performing in a dress would be…better. She hasn’t actually been on TV, but has watched more than nine programmes, both with and without pants!

Bing was crafted in Shanghai, refined in NYC and recently shipped to HK 1.5 years ago. Once a performer of traditional Chinese comedy - where the goal was more about awe than laughter (think: impressing Chinese parents)- she has since pivoted to the world of stand-up. By day, she’s an office worker. By night, a comedian, theater enthusiast, and film actress - none of these pay enough for her to thrive in HK’s wallet-crushing reality, but she persists anyway.“

Bing […] clings to her youthful energy and brings vivacity to the bleakness with her zest for adventure and love of laughter - providing a refreshing and joyful break.” – TheaterScene (back when Bing was actually youthful)
