Carina is a self-motivated and passionate recruitment consultant in the Tech industry. She specialises recruitment in the Data Science/Analytics and UI UX Design field. She is adept in seeking talents in the industry, for which she has seen multiple success in senior placements such as Head of Data and Director of UX Research for various world’s best global banks and insurance companies.

Prior to joining the recruitment industry, Carina was part of the Institute of Financial Technologists of Asia (IFTA), and had partaken in launching the first Fintech professional qualification CFT (Certificate of Finance Technology) in Hong Kong. From this experience, she had seen first-hand the blossoming of the IT industry in Hong Kong.

Meanwhile, she has been actively collaborating with different organisations and tech academies in hosting events/ webinars as speaker. Her main role is to share about the recent trends and opportunities in the tech market. With insight earned from relevant experience, she sees the potential in Fintech market and aims to actuate the growth by keeping a keen eye for new trends and talents to enter the industry.

JESSICA WU - Gaming Industry Expert

Jessica is the former CFO of Catheon Gaming, the 170+ team behind a number of GameFi projects including SolChicks, SeoulStars, and AngryMals. SolChicks became the #1 play-to-earn game on Solana within 3 months of its launch, raising $55 million and listing at a fully diluted market capitalisation of $ 2 billion.

Prior to that, she was Vice President at Citi focusing on the Gaming sector.

Jessica started her career as an actress and model after winning the 3rd place in the national actress competition. She participated in the historical film, The Legend of Xishi, with TVB. She is also a ballet dancer and plays the violin.

Jessica is educated at Chicago Booth Business School and is a CFA Charterholder.

EVERLY CHERYL CHOI - Chief Growth Officer, GrowthMind io

Everly is the Chief Growth Officer of A.I. Company: GrowthMind io. GrowthMind io takes care of BioTech related blockchain project development, educational metaverse related projects, and also provides the setting-up of Smart contracts, NFT projects, and crypto payment gateway set up. GrowthMind io has R&D teams in both London and HK.

Everly spent 7 years in the deep tech industry in management, in the role of Product Manager, CEO, and CGO. Before her journey in tech industry, she won 6 Hackathon championships and was the assignment editor of the financial team of International Newswire.

She founded a non-profit organisation, Deep Tech Girl, providing free code labs and talk shows to women to better equip them with up-and-coming skills required in the deep tech industry.
