KIN Presents: Stand Up Comedy Night

Coming to you live once again, with more laughs and hilarious story-telling at KIN's Stand Up Comedy Night! Showcasing some of Hong Kong's true talents, KIN welcomes another all-star comedic lineup with Ryan Hynek, Ha Chu, Tim Chan and Chris Musni taking stage. Join us in this fun-filled evening of non-stop jokes and be part of this city's growing comedy community.

Guests who present proof of event ticket and the KIN App, will be eligible to redeem a free drink from KIN's Kaiten Bar (drinks/beer on tap, house red/white, standard spirits).

Masks must be worn at all times while guests are not eating or drinking throughout the show.

Prior to the event, guests are strongly encouraged to get a taste of KIN's F&B offerings. Payment and ordering can be done via the KIN App.

Ryan Hynek

Ryan Hynek is a Chicago native who’s been yucking it up on the Asia Comedy circuit since 2007. Knowing that comedy won’t pay the rent in his 300 foot ‘deluxe’ apartment in the sky, Ryan works full-time as a secondary school English teacher. He’s the first to admit that he uses his students as guinea pigs for his brand of observational humor and finds success in their puzzled looks. He’s a top three finalist in the Hong Kong International Comedy Festival and has played clubs around the world from Chicago to Hanoi. You can find Ryan poking around the comedy clubs in HK most weekends.

Ha Chu

Ha Chu is a stand up comedian from Hong Kong. His unique comedy style has brought him to stages across Asia, Australia and Europe.

He is the first comedian from Asia to perform at the Christiania Comedy Club (Denmark). He was chosen by Melbourne International Comedy Festival to perform at the MICF- “Comedy Zone Asia”. He is a regular at the Hong Kong International Comedy Festival as well as the past winner of the Hong Kong International Comedy Competition.

Tim Chan

Tim Chan is the main performer in stand up comedy group “Hall of Laughs." Tim started his comedy career in 2011, he won 2011 Hong Kong International Comedy Competition and he did an opening act in Hall of laughs headliner Vivek Mahbubani’s one man show. In 2015, Tim did his first one man show and did an opening act in HK famous Radio DJ Cheuk Wan Chi’s one woman show.

Tim is not only active in Hong Kong, he also performed in Mainland, Macau, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore & Australia.

In 2017, Tim was invited by TEDxYOUTH to be a TEDx speaker.

Chris Musni

Chris Musni is a San Francisco native who moved to Hong Kong to achieve his lifelong dream of fame and fortune. Failing that, he took the stage and developed a witty comedic style that forces the audience to ask themselves questions such as “Why are things the way they are?” or “When is this show going to end?”

When not onstage you can find Chris’s big nose in a nonfiction book while thinking he’s better than you or he might be shooting hoops with basketballs in Tseung Kwan O.
