With the logistical support of EMERGENCY, the non character-driven documentary Killa Dizez shows the experience of EMERGENCY’s health care workers in their fight against Ebola, the deadly infectious disease that affected West Africa in the Summer/Fall of 2015.
The documentary offers the viewers an in-depth look into different stories and destinies affected by the disease: patients who die, patients who survive, international humanitarian aid workers frustrated by the strength of the virus and local workers who face the stigma from their own communities.
At the peak of the Ebola epidemic in Sierra Leone, the local Government asked EMERGENCY to open and manage a 100-bed Ebola Treatment Centre equipped with an intensive care unit, the only one of its kind in the countries hit by the epidemic.
All proceeds go to support EMERGENCY Sierra Leone mission.
Further donation to EMERGENCY will be highly appreciated.
