Hoi Ha Wan Marine Park is one of Hong Kong's most diverse marine ecosystems. Protected as a marine park, this tranquil bay is home to several coral colonies, one of the best of which is some 20-30 minutes kayaking off the shore.
After meeting up at University MTR sation we take taxi to Hoi Ha (included), a small village on the sea shore. Here we board our kayaks and paddle out to the coral colony to have a look at the wonderful underwater world. Colourful fish and corals, sea urchins, crabs and many other sea creatures are waiting here for you to discover.
Tour fee inlcudes taxi from University MTR to Hoi Ha, kayak and snorkeling gear (mask, snorkel, flippers). From Hoi Ha, we take a minibus out towards Sai Kung ($10.8 - bring Octopus or exact change), from where you may change to other parts of Hong Kong.
Participants must be confident and experienced swimmers. Children at least 8 years of age and must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Bring swim suit and some clothes to protect you from the sun while kayaking and snorkelling.
