About this session
This workshop is the 5th session of the series "Impact Investing: Your Second Act for Purpose and Profit". In this session, Mr. Eric Swinton, Founder of V Cycle, will share with us his journey in founding the social enterprise in 2017, and its successes and challenges along the way. The participants will visit the Tuen Mun Circular Hub and learn about recycling industry, sustainable materials, circular economy, and gain hands-on experience in the sorting and processing of recyclables under the guidance of the expert workers.
About the series
The series is designed to introduce social innovation and impact investing through real-life case studies, and to equip participants with basic knowledge and skills to understand and evaluate potential impact investment opportunities. As part of the series, 2 visits will be arranged for participants to meet social innovators and understand their businesses and challenges. Impact investing practitioners will also share their frontline experience and insights. The series is specifically catered for those in search of a purpose-driven career. No prior knowledge in social innovation or impact investing would be required.
