The Women's Foundation Presents International Women’s Day 2021 Virtual Lunch with associate sponsors Financial Times and Swire Group!

About this Event

Join us to commemorate International Women’s Day when we highlight the achievements of women and reaffirm our commitment to building a gender balanced Hong Kong. We are thrilled to be featuring an inspiring discussion with leaders in the film industry including directors Ruby Yang and Jenny Suen as well as Kelly Willis, Executive Creative Director at Walt Disney Imagineering Asia on the theme ‘Scripting Our Future – A Gender Equal Narrative’, moderated by Tim Payne, Senior Partner, Head of Asia at Brunswick Group.

While we are hopeful that the global pandemic will ebb later this year, the indelible effects of this unprecedented period has meant that we will all need to determine a new way forward. The power of the film and creative industries is in their ability to both portray reality and transcend it, reshaping the story into a more profound idea of what is possible. It is precisely this imagination of possibility that is needed as we move forward.

At TWF, we are committed to a future with gender equal protagonists and opportunities.

The TWF community has been vital to transforming the lives of women and girls in Hong Kong and we are counting on your support, more than ever, to help us raise funds so we can continue our critical work and deepen our impact.

We would like to request a minimum donation of HK$250 to join this event; all proceeds raised will go towards TWF’s research, advocacy, programmes and initiatives for women and girls. We welcome all participants for this event. If you are unable to make a donation, registration is available free of charge.

We look forward to seeing you there!

For corporate sponsorship opportunities, please contact Bernard.Lee@twfhk.org.

Registrations are free of charge, but tickets are limited. Please confirm your participation early to avoid disappointment.
