由香港公開大學舉辦的全港首個樂齡科技國際會議 (International Conference on Gerontechnology: Achieving Excellence in Elderly Care through Gerontechnology)將重新訂於2020年11月25-27日(星期三至五)以全視像形式舉行,
人口老化一直為各國政府所困擾,近年興起的樂齡科技是社會應對人口老化挑戰的新希望。本學院特此透過一連三天十三場精彩的講座,特別邀請多位美加、東南亞的重量級學者和本地專家講解樂齡科技的發展趨勢、於老年護理的應用、分享臨床經驗,以提高業界和大眾對樂齡科技的認識並提昇長者的生活質素及自主能力。會場亦特設產品展示專區,讓大家一覽和體驗最炙手可熱的樂齡科技產品。

The theme of the conference: Achieving excellence in elderly care through gerontechnology
The world's population is aging rapidly and Gerontechnology becomes the fresh hope of the world to tackle the aging challenges. Sponsored by Professional Services Advancement Support Scheme, International Conference on Gerontechnology will be rescheduled to take place online from 25-27 November 2020 (Wed to Friday)
To promote the understanding of gerontechnology among the industry and the public, and enhancing the quality of life and independence of the elderly, the 3-day conference will deliver 13 amazing presentations. It brings together 5 renowned scholars from The United States, Canada, and Southeast Asia and 8 local professionals to share their expertise on the development of gerontechnology, application in elderly care, and best practice case studies. Besides, the conference also features several exhibiting booths that showcase cutting edge technology products.
