Technology innovation is changing our personal lives and the business world every second. How does today’s communicator integrate pervasive, powerful and ever-changing technology into an organization’s communication program? This October, IABC Hong Kong invites you to join our seminar by visiting communication expert Brad Whitworth, senior internal communications manager at Hitachi Vantara. Brad will share how leading tech company communicators are putting technology to work in the world’s epicenter for innovation. A presentation will be followed by a discussion session with all participants.

About Brad Whitworth

Brad Whitworth, SCMP, ABC, IABC Fellow, started his Silicon Valley communication career the year before IBM launched its first personal computer. He has been leading marketing and communication teams at some of the world’s leading tech firms ever since, always finding ways to integrate innovative technology in his communication programs.

Today he is senior internal communications manager at Hitachi Vantara. Before joining the wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd., in March 2018, Brad led communication and marketing functions at HP, Cisco, PeopleSoft, Micro Focus, and AAA. He holds undergraduate degrees in both journalism and speech from the University of Missouri and an MBA from Santa Clara University. A former broadcaster, Brad has made more than 300 presentations to executives, communicators, and university classes around the world. Brad is a past chairman of the board of directors of IABC (the International Association of Business Communicators), a past president of two local IABC chapters and a Fellow of the association. He is one of the authors of The IABC Handbook of Organizational Communication. He and his wife Peg live in northern California wine country.
