About this Event
illusfairHK is much more than just an exhibition or an art & craft market. Over the 3-day period, there are numerous activities for public participation, including free talks by professional illustrators such as Flying Pig (The creative hand behind the Heritage Programme of 100 Faces of Tai Kwun), Winson Ma (Creator of Winson Classic Creation Ltd ), Kenny Wong (Creator of the cartoon character Molly), Joe Lee (Gold award winner of 4As Kam Fan Awards 2013 -The Best Illustration), Children’s Literature and Culture Association of Hong Kong, Johnson Chiang (Creator of the cartoon character John dog), Sindy Lau and Steve Yuen (Owners of Part-of Gallery Hong Kong) and Terence Choi (Hong Kong illustrator). Workshops and live drawing demonstration are held by our artists on both Saturday and Sunday. Responding to our 2019 theme “Colours of Life”, illustrators will showcase their latest artworks at our joint exhibition zone.

About the Organizer “Jam-nut-bean”:
Jam-nut-bean, a local illustration group, where highly passionate (almost “nuts”) individuals (i.e. “beans”) collaborate together (i.e. “Jam”) to create uniquely fused tastes. Always “Believing in the Collective”, we mix our skills and styles to create distinctive works that are energy-lifting and sweet, with aim to generate new thoughts and perspectives.
