Design Spectrumis an initiative byHong Kong Design Centre(HKDC) to foster a good design culture in the community. It features year-round exhibitions, exchanges, design appreciation and other promotion programmes to cultivate a creative atmosphere, while nurturing local creative capital. It serves as a unique public face for HKDC to strengthen linkages with the community and partners locally, in other cities of the Greater Bay Area, ASEAN cities and overseas, and contributes towards creative and cultural tourism.

<p>Human’s ability to play enables us to communicate with our world via different senses – it also allows us to sharpen our sensory skills to create and design our futures. In the upcoming workshops brought to you by the Institute of Design Knowledge (IDK), join us to have a taste of how to “think with your hands” by using the LEGO® Serious Play® Method in two important aspects of Design Thinking: visual storytelling and idea generation.</p><p></p><p>人類自小便懂得玩樂。這種與生俱來的能力讓我們以不同感官與世界溝通，以提升我們的感官技巧去創造及設計我們的未來。我們誠邀你參加由設計知識學院 (IDK) 帶給大家的兩個工作坊，體驗LEGO® Serious Play® Method這套「動手思考」方法，探索設計思維的兩個重要元素：視覺叙事及意念構想。</p><p></p><p>***Each participant will use a brand-new LSP Window Exploration Set (take it home to continue the journey)</p><p>***每位參加者將使用全新LSP Window Exploration Set (可帶回家繼續玩樂)</p><p></p><h3>Workshop #1: Visual Storytelling through Play (with the LEGO® Serious Play® Method)</h3><p>Venue: Room 301 &amp; 303, 3/F, 7 Mallory Street, Wan Chai</p><p>Date &amp; Time: 31.10.2020 / 2pm – 4pm</p><p>Guest Speaker: Kit Wong</p><p>Target Audience: Anyone interested in exploring visual storytelling</p><p>Age: 18+</p><p>No. of participants: 24</p><p>Language: Cantonese</p><p>Fee: Free of charge</p><p></p><h3>工作坊一：玩樂中建構視覺故事（配合LEGO® Serious Play® Method）</h3><p>場地：灣仔茂蘿街 7號 3樓 301 和 303室</p><p>日期及時間：31.10.2020 / 2pm – 4pm</p><p>講者：王仲傑</p><p>對象：對視覺叙事有興趣的人士</p><p>年齡：18歲以上</p><p>名額：24</p><p>語言：粵語</p><p>費用：費用全免</p><p></p><h3>Remarks for Participants</h3><p>A.	All participants are required to take temperature check before admission. Participants with fever symptoms will not be admitted.</p><p>B.	All participants must sign a form confirming they have not confirmed infection for Covid-19 and/ or been under compulsory quarantine imposed by the Department of Health. Hong Kong Design Centre reserves the final right for permission of entering the workshop venue if you are not able to complete or confirm the matters as set out in this form.</p><p>C.	All participants must wear a mask at all times during the activity. Eating and drinking is not allowed. Participants without wearing a mask will not be admitted.</p><p>D.	Participants are encouraged to use alcohol hand sanitiser before entry.</p><p>E.	In light of the current pandemic situation, the Organiser reserves the right to cancel, postpone or change any details such as dates of all events. Participants will be notified through emails or phone calls.</p><p></p><h3>參加者注意事項</h3><p>A.	所有活動參加者進場前須接受體溫測量。若有發燒徵狀，工作人員有權拒絕相關人士進場。</p><p>B.	所有活動參加者都必須簽署一份「健康申報表」，確認他們在過去14天內未曾確診2019冠狀病毒病及／或曾被衛生署要求強制檢疫。如未能填妥本表格或確認表格所列出的事項，香港設計中心將保留可進入活動場地的最終決定權。</p><p>C.	所有活動參加者於出席活動時須一直佩戴口罩，期間請勿飲食。若無佩戴自備口罩，工作人員有權拒絕相關人士進場。</p><p>D.	活動參加者在進場前建議使用酒精搓手液清潔雙手。</p><p>E.	因應疫情實際情況，大會將保留一切權利取消、延期或更改所有活動日期。活動參與者將會透過電郵或電話通知。</p><p></p>

<h3>講者簡介</h3><h3>About the Guest Speaker</h3>

<p>Kit is a lyricist, an author, and the founder of La Violet Education and Under Production. He is committed to promoting creative education in youth and youth empowerment in the creative industry. Apart from teaching Design Thinking in education institutions, he also provides staff training for corporates and NGOs. To encourage Hong Kong people to chase their dreams, he has been organising "Life beyond routine dream project" since 2014 that more than 90 winning teams were supported. In 2017, he organised a concert showcasing his pieces of lyrics.</p><p>王仲傑是籽識教育及陸續出版創辦人，致力推廣青少年創意教育及創意工業實踐機會。除了於大、中、小學推廣設計思維，他亦為企業及非牟利機構提供職員培訓，將設計思維帶入日常工作。為鼓勵香港人勇於追尋夢想，於2014年起策劃「今生不做機械人夢想計劃」。計劃為超過90個得獎單位提供資源及夢想啟動基金。他同時是流行曲作詞人及作者，於2017年舉辦個人作品展《紫此一次》。</p>

Located in a revitalised cluster of Grade 2 historic buildings at 7 Mallory Street, Wan Chai, Design Spectrum features year-round exhibitions, exchanges, design appreciation and other promotion programmes to cultivate a creative atmosphere, while nurturing local creative capital. It serves as a unique public face for HKDC to strengthen linkages with the community and partners locally, in other cities of the Greater Bay Area, ASEAN cities and overseas, and contributes towards creative and cultural tourism. </p><p></p><h3>關於設計光譜</h3><p>設計光譜是香港設計中心（HKDC）推出的全新項目，旨在推動社區培養好設計文化。設計光譜設於灣仔茂蘿街7號的二級歷史活化建築物內，透過舉辦全年展覽、交流、設計賞析及其他推廣項目，營造創新氛圍，同時為社會培育本地創意資本。作為HKDC面向公眾的獨特平台，設計光譜致力加強與來自本地、大灣區其他城市、東盟城市和海外合作伙伴的聯繫，同時推廣創意及文化旅遊。</p>
