This is the second series of IDEA FAIR 1.0 presented by Research Institute for Smart and Green Cities. As we often face a very short notice for the research grant proposals, we all experienced that it has been so difficult to produce a desirable research proposal after the launch of official announcement. So, in order to prepare ourselves in a better way, we wish to organise a brainstorming workshop so that we can work on future research proposals more effectively. Naturally, this research workshop is not for an in-depth discussion, but to initiate further discussions with a snapshot of relevant research landscape. Drawn from the outcome of this workshop, we are trying to form a number of smaller research groups with those who are interested in a similar research topic. This workshop is to prepare ourselves better for future calls of research grant applications and facilitate better collaborations with external funding bodies, such as government and industry, when necessary.

If you have any research idea to share with others, or want to get involved in developing an interesting research proposal together, please join the workshop and, most importantly, have fun.
