Event description

Description

The Human Dignity Leadership Forum is the flagship event in our Human Dignity Festival (HDF). HDF is inspired by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.

Participants will be able to engage with 70 local grassroots NGO leaders as well as 7 specially selected high profile guest human rights defenders from across the globe. 2018 marks an even more special occasion, as it is the 70th anniversary of the UDHR and also the 20th anniversary on the UN Declaration on Human Rights Defenders.

The HDF Leadership Forum will be in Hong Kong on November 17-18th at
Eaton Hotel and feature two days of inspiration, education, and hands-on
challenges that will help transform budding change-makers into tomorrow’s
leaders of advocacy and positive change!

A Leadership Forum ticket is HKD$700 for 2 full jam-packed days and we are only offering 70 places for amazing humans like YOU! We are not relying on corporate funding, so our Festival will be funded almost solely on people power. We are not charging the other 70 NGO leaders to attend so you will be helping to directly support capacity building and community engagement. We hope your contribution will leave fire in your belly to go on and support and champion one or more of the NGOs you meet. We will help expose you to global thought leaders, progressive dialogue and people of different cultures and backgrounds who will challenge you to check your notions of privilege and allyship. Our unique style of intersectional, intimate discussions about human rights and dignity is truly leading the way in how we think about being an ally to fellow humans and to our planet.
