Since 2018, we have been working with Preface Coffee to provide Tech and Programming workshops for our community of growth-seeking learners. In this workshop, our developer team will show you the tech behind “The Code Brew Project” and the beauty of coding.From daily communication to personal financial planning, technology is heavily influencing our daily lives. In this Coding Workshop, you’ll be introduced to how The Code Brew Project applies NLP(Natural Language Processing) and sentiment analysis to coffee making. You will also understand what is web-scraping and how leading tech firms utilise it to collect data automatically from the internet.Key Takeaways<ul><li>You'll code in basic Python syntax to build programs.</li><li>You’ll learn how a basic data model is structured with the fundamental principles of data science.</li><li>You'll learn how to use Python to collect article headlines from Google News.</li><li>You’ll see how computers process human languages.</li></ul>

Preparation and Pre-requisites<ul><li>This is a class for beginners; no prior knowledge is required.</li><li>Please bring along a laptop (Mac or Windows)with you.</li></ul>
