Event description

Description

In macrobiotics, the term “Let Food Be Thy Medicine” is commonly used, but how exactly does it work in practice? Once you learn the macrobiotic basics, it actually becomes quite simple: observe the symptoms of an imbalance, identify the cause, use specific dishes and home remedies to help body get back to balance.

Symptoms of an imbalanced condition can range anywhere from feeling tired and sluggish, to having digestive issues, nausea, headaches, or insomnia. If not dealt with, over the years the condition can worsen and symptoms can become stronger eventually leading to more serious, digestive, respiratory, and immune system disorders. Most of the time, imbalances can be efficiently remedied with macrobiotic medicinal drinks and external remedies, in conjunction with eating balanced meals.

In this workshop, Serg explains the power of macrobiotic nutrition in correcting physical and emotional imbalances. We will cover most commonly used macrobiotic remedies (internal and external), their practical application and for the cooking part of the workshop, their preparation.
