HKILF: An Evening with David Sedaris

Hong Kong International Literary Festival is proud to host bestselling author and master of satire David Sedaris with our venue partner Asia Society.

With sardonic wit and incisive social critiques, David Sedaris has become one of America’s pre-eminent humor writers. He is the master of satire and one of today’s most observant writers addressing the human condition. Calypso, his latest collection of essays, is a New York Times best-seller, and a Washington Post Best Book of the Year. The audiobook of Calypso has been nominated for a 2019 Grammy in the Best Spoken Word Album category.

Save the date for January 10th 2020 at 7:30 p.m for an hour long reading of exciting, new and unpublished material, followed by a Q&A and book signing session.

There is no assigned seating for this event.
Please note that photos or videos of David Sedaris are prohibited at all times during this event.

During the book signing, you will be handed post-its for you to write your name as you wish David to write it on the title page.
