Description

HKCS CSSG X CIO Board Forum: ABC of Cyber Security for ABC

Many organizations are operating with ABC: Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and Cloud Computing, which are also the hottest topics in the industry. They are enjoying the benefits brought by those technologies, but at the same time, organizations are now having a larger attack surface and wider exposure, because

  • Sensitive data or personal privacy data are often involved
  • Risk of data leakage is always a big concern
  • The ABC (Assessment of risks, Best practices to address the risk, Conformity assessment for monitoring and maintenance) of Cyber Security is imperative to mitigate risk exposure for ABC

In the cyber space, organizations also need to achieve a balance between growth and protection and secure innovations. In this forum, the Hong Kong Computer Society has invited a number of reputable speakers whom have extensive experience in Cyber Security to share with us what they think are the key success factors for CIOs to embark the transformation journey, keep the momentum of innovation, and protect their innovation and new assets.

Keynote Presentation 2: Security Past the Perimeter - An Immune System for the Cloud

Mr Huili Wang

In an age of borderless networks, security for the cloud and security for the corporate network can no longer be separated. Security teams are now presented with the challenge of monitoring and controlling access to these cloud environments, as they represent yet another frontier for cyber-attacks. Complete visibility has never been more important — or more difficult.

In this session, you will learn:
• How new machine learning and mathematics are automating advanced threat detection across today’s borderless networks
• How to gain visibility across virtual environments, third-party clouds, hybrid deployments, and cloud-only infrastructures
• Why AI-driven visibility of both physical and virtual environments allow you to preempt emerging situations by autonomously responding in real time
• What smart prioritization and visualization of threats mean for resource allocation and lower risk
