Highgate House (The Peak) - Infant Massage Course
Infant Massage class led by International Association of Infant Massage Instructors (IAIM)
Five week course starting Friday 10 February 2017 - 2.30-3.30pm (weekly) - Friday 10 March 2017
Infant massage is a technique that connects the parent and the baby - it is about nurturing touch and communication. Suitable for babies/infants from 6 weeks-12 months the 5-week course is also led by our own certified IAIM instructors from Highgate House School. IAIM is recognised and recommended by many leading medical practices (including the Matilda Hospital Hong Kong.)
What is IAIM?
IAIM is a world renowned association for the promotion of infant massage. It is based in Sweden with branches in 52 countries. Founded by Ms Vimala McClure in the late 70s, IAIM has been outreaching to countries across the globe to promote infant massage and nurturing touch. http://www.iaim.net/
IAIM Massage promotes:
improved learning ability;
secure attachment between parent and baby;
relief of colic, teething discomfort etc;
improved sleep, self-regulation & immune response..

What are my transport/parking options?
Meter parking is available just outside the school but can get busy at peak hours. Buses and taxis are readily available on the main road.
What can I bring?
We ask you remove your outdoor footwear in our classrooms - please bring socks or indoor shoes for you and your baby
