About this event
Contemporary feminist art, unlike the typical art of any era, has become an essential part of Chinese contemporary art. Feminist artists are no longer the "Aphonic group" – they sought to create a dialogue between the viewer and the artwork by including women's perspectives. Art is not merely an object for aesthetic admiration but could also incite the viewer to question the social and political landscape and, through this questioning, possibly affect the world and incite change toward equality.
"Existence 10+10" – International Female Contemporary Art Exhibition 2023, jointly organized by Art Life Foundation and HK Art of Nature International Feminist Art Research Society, is the third series under our art exhibition brand 'Infinite Love.' Our previous online show, 'Her Power', launched in March 2021, showcasing around one thousand artworks made by 300 artists from 50 areas of the globe, gaining extensive support from all sectors of society and receiving media attention from a wide range of press, for example, CCTV, SCMP, Bauhinia Magazine, Ming Pao, HKEJ and Ta Kung Pao.
We hereby proudly present "Existence 10+10" – International Female Contemporary Art Exhibition 2023 with our talented female artists around the world to construct a feminist aesthetical scene, reviewing the female art history in the past ten years in nostalgia while prospecting the future for feminist art in the coming ten years. The exhibition aims to draw society's attention to the aesthetical, commercial and social value of feminist art. We ART women. We ART together！
About the organizer
Established in 2007, Art of Nature Int’l has devoted to promote Chinese - foreign art exchange and uphold the essence of Chinese art and culture, in accordance with the idea of "Art accords with brand, art accords with life, art makes a better life".
