What should we be aware of when performing Gua Sha?

A meeting with your health practitioner / family doctor is advised before performing Gua Sha on yourself, in order to receive guidance and see if this technique will be beneficial for you.

I suspect I may have a skin condition, may I sign up for this Gua Sha workshop?

For your safety, using Gua Sha is strictly forbidden for those who have any skin conditions or infections, are prone to bleeding, take blood-thinning medications, have deep vein thrombosis, or have an implanted device like a pacemaker or internal defibrillator.
