Recommended audiences: Educators and professionals in STEM fields—whether they are professors and teachers preparing instructional materials, researchers and engineers compiling study reports, students submitting assignments and theses, or any scholars aiming to publish academic research—inevitably need to handle complex and extensive mathematical formulas in addition to textual content. We'll explore the basic usage of MathType in Microsoft Word and smart typing tips to make writing math easy. The session will also briefly introduce some uses of MathType in converting formula formats, which can significantly expand the future application scope of formulas, rather than confining them solely to a single Word document.

About Speaker:

Coey Yu is the Regional Manager of Wiris. She is committed to staying close to users, sharing experiences, and listening to feedback, to minimize the annoyances that formulas can cause during the research and publication process and contribute to the digitization and reusability of such data.
