Financial Inclusion & Literacy Committee Agenda

2018 Strategy & Priorities:

1. Financial Inclusion

• Advocacy for underbanked in Hong Kong and in the region

• Digital Banking inclusivity and ensure financial inclusion for diversified players that could potentially serve the unbanked and underbanked

• Advocacy for major policy and initiatives related to financial inclusion for financial services in Hong Kong via Fintech application

• Literacy & inclusion directory

• Promote ecosystem, services, or solutions for underbanked

• Identify and “recruit” to committee, solution providers (new or existing members)

• Identify other similar bodies for Financial Inclusion (e.g. Cyberport, BlockChain Society etc), to collaborate and leverage what these groups are already doing

• Financial Literacy & Talent and Diversity

• University Engagement to enable underprivileged students to access to Finance and Technology through our committee/ association

Remarks: Participants are requested to come before time as the security at the door closes at 6:30pm.

Participants quota is set as 35, on a first come first serve basis
