Closed Door Dialogue with Dr the Hon Moses Cheng Mo-chi, GBM, GBS, JP
FTAHK and Cyberport have invited Chairman of Insurance Authority, Dr Moses Cheng, to give an overview on IA’s initiatives on InsurTech development in Hong Kong. There will be an open dialogue with Dr Moses Cheng on topics on the role of digital insurers, product differentiation, development of InsurTech and the potential of GBA. The 45 min round-table discussion will be moderated by Mr. Dustin Ball, Financial Services Transaction Partner in EY.
Chatham house rules would be applied.

Guest Speaker: Dr the Hon Moses Cheng Mo-chi, GBM, GBS, JP
Dr Cheng is the Consultant of a law firm, after having served as its Senior Partner for over 20 years. His areas of practice cover capital markets, corporate governance, regulatory, and compliance. He has been actively contributing to the community, and is currently a member of the Financial Leaders Forum and a Fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Finance. He has also served in various important positions, including Chairman of the Education Commission, government-appointed Director on the Board of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, and founding Vice-Chairman of the Estate Agents Authority.

Dustin is the Financial Services Transaction Partner leading the Corporate Finance Strategy team in Greater China and serving as Insurance Transactions Leader for Asia. He has over 20 years of experience across a broad range of areas including general management, strategy formulation and mergers & acquisitions. He has spent over 13 years in Asia with leading multinational insurance companies and former CEO of BIDV MetLife, MetLife’s insurance joint venture in Vietnam. Dustin was the former head of strategy and M&A at several multinational insurer.
