A little of history
It started in 1865, when the pantelegraph was invented by Giovanni Caselli, and started operations between Paris and Lyon, France. The pantelegraph was most commonly used to verify signatures in banking transactions. 150 years later, we are entering the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Chat bots, Distributed Ledgers (BlockChain), IoT...
Each step in the evolution of FinTech happened because of enablers, like these historical financial crises; events which significantly impacted society. Each disruption is the result of a motivation, and a wish to create a change.
