Question 1

If forest bathing safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes, forest bathing is safe. We urge caution as anything could happen in nature, but each space chosen to do a walk is inspected for safety purposes. Before your walk, you will receive an email with information about what to bring to make your experience as safe and comfortable as possible.

Question 2

What should I bring/wear?

Accepted Answer

Wear clothes for the weather and shoes with good grip. During the spring and summer months in Hong Kong, it can get a bit humid. You can wear short sleeve and shorts, but make sure to apply sun screen and mosquito spray! Definitely bring water and if it's at night, a flashlight or headtorch.

Question 3

Is forest bathing like a hike?

Accepted Answer

No, it's a bit different. While hiking does take you into nature and provides physical exercise, forest bathing differs in that it has no expectation to reach a certain place by a certain time. The only expectation is for people to relearn how to "just be." It isn't usually strenuous.

Question 4

What if the weather isn’t good (e.g raining)?

Accepted Answer

We will conduct our forest bathing walks in the rain as well, as it provides a unique perspective to the environment we’re in. We will cancel walks should the weather become too hazardous and unsafe for us to continue.

Question 5

Is there anything I need to tell the guide in advance?

Accepted Answer

Please tell your guide if you have any medical conditions, injuries, disabilities, environmental allergies, or dietary restrictions that may impact your ability to complete the walk. If in doubt, contact us before you book for peace of mind.

Question 6

What is your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

You may request a 50% refund if you cancel more than 48 hours in advance. No refunds after that point.
We will give as much notice as possible to all of our guests should we cancel for hazardous weather or ground conditions, the guide’s incapacity, or if the venue closes for any reason.
