About this event

THEME Celebrate Local and Seasonal

Food sourcing can have a surprisingly large impact on the environment and influence on human health. Join Food Made Good HK for sustainable cocktails at The Mira Hong Kong where we will be focusing on how businesses can positively impact the environment by going local and seasonal where possible. We recognise that the majority of food in HK is imported but given this context what can we still do to ensure we are supporting a healthy and sustainable food system?

On the 13th of April, we'll be speaking with guest speakers Larry Tang from Locofama, Justine Kwok from Flow Farm & Sanctuary and Nicholas Moutafis from SpiceBox Organics on local farmers; on what’s possible to grow locally and what are the challenges being faced.

A big thank you to our main supporter InvestHK and venue host Miramar Group for making this event possible.

The Sustainability Meet-up Series is a monthly gathering designed to educate, and empower the Hong Kong foodservice community -- chefs, restaurateurs, FOH, BOH, suppliers, and sustainability leads.

Underpinned by our framework, the programme is curated to inspire the community, to uncover novel ways through which they can apply small but significant changes to their sourcing choices, menu design, and supplies. We will be organising talks delivered by sustainable food industry leaders, on various themes linked to UN International Days and our three pillars – Sourcing, Society & the Environment.

Join us for a round of fantastic cocktails, courtesy of the venue host, Miramar Group.

Limited spaces available. Sign up now to avoid disappointment.

In the event that we need to postpone the Sustainability Cocktail event, we will contact you directly.
