FIS Climate Action Day

A morning of educational games, films, talks and fun activities for the entire family to discover and learn about Climate Action and Sustainability.

It has been too long since the FIS community has been able to gather together and enjoy a day of fun on its campuses!

We are happy to invite you to join us on 3rd December, for the very first event of the school year. The FIS Climate Action Day will be held at the Tseung Kwan O campus from 9 am to 12:30pm.

Dedicated to climate action, the event will help you learn how to live more sustainably in Hong Kong, understand what the school does to be more sustainable and engage your children and teenagers to learn about climate change.

The French International School of Hong Kong believes that each and every one of us has a role to play in tackling climate change and actively protecting our planet to ensure a clean and healthy environment for future generations.

A whole morning of educational games, film screening, talks and fun activities is planned for families to learn more about Climate Action and Sustainability.

We will offer activities accessible to all ages including:

1- Understand GreenHouse Gas (GHG) emissions with a unique science workshop and experiments catered to the primary students (from 5 years-old), pre-registration is mandatory.

2- Partake in the very first face-to-face Junior Climate Fresk workshop to have an open and positive conversation about climate solutions in a fun and accessible way (10-14 years-old), pre-registration is mandatory.

3- Spend some family time playing to “Go Goals!” to teach children about Sustainable Development Goals in a simple and child-friendly way.

4- Walk the sustainability path around the campus to discover the efforts put in place at TKO to build a better environment for the children

We promise lots of fun, new experiences, more knowledge and many more ideas on what you can do at home, at school and for our community!
