Exploring the Inner Self: MBCT in Stress Management and X'mas Party

By Division of Industrial-Organizational Psychology

Overview

Let's come together to explore the Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) approach to managing stress and celebrating Christmas 2025!

Overview

In the demanding field of mental health, professionals often face significant stress that can impact their well-being and effectiveness. Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) offers a valuable approach to managing stress by integrating cognitive behavioral techniques with mindfulness practices. This sharing session will introduce Industrial and Organizational Psychology professionals to the principles of MBCT and its effectiveness in fostering self-awareness and emotional regulation in high-pressure environments.

Participants will engage in guided mindfulness exercises designed to promote relaxation and enhance self-awareness. These experiential activities will allow the I/O professionals to experience the benefits of mindfulness firsthand, helping them connect with their inner selves and better understand their stress triggers. Through reflective discussions, attendees will explore healthier coping mechanisms and strategies for responding to stressors with greater clarity, ultimately improving their resilience in the workplace.

The sharing session will also provide practical applications for incorporating MBCT into daily routines, empowering the I/O professionals to manage stress more effectively. A Q&A segment will encourage the sharing of experiences and foster a supportive learning environment. Join us to discover new pathways to stress management and enhance your overall well-being through the exploration of MBCT.
